Established in 1953 and headquartered in Portugal, FRIMEC began its early years dedicated to the production of controllers, valves, gauges, and pressure regulators for the oil industry. In 1960, the first air conditioning product was launched from the production line at the Portugal factory, marking FRIMEC’s official entry into the air conditioning industry.
FRIMEC then entered an era of innovation, adopting new process technologies and enhancing production quality. Leveraging technology as a bridge, FRIMEC promoted localized manufacturing and global distribution, with markets in Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and other European countries. In 2008, FRIMEC entered the Asian market with the opening of its factory in Malaysia.
In 2019, FRIMEC officially entered the Chinese market and invested in a manufacturing facility in Zhenjiang, China, in partnership with its strategic Chinese partner. This move was part of its efforts to continue building an international HVAC brand through advanced technology and high-quality products, as well as to further promote global brand presence.
